Training Sessions
Behaviour Training Sessions are designed to help you manage and handle difficult and stressful behaviours you are experiencing with your dog effectively and efficiently while you learn the necessary handling skills and tools needed to improve you and your dog’s quality of life.
The focus is on future solutions or working toward successful management of an ongoing difficult behaviour.
The behaviour training consult can be conducted through a home visit or take place at my location if appropriate. Including an assessment, the session will focus on specific training and management of the issue teaching necessary handling skills.
This also includes support with follow up summary report from the session towards solving and managing your dog’s behaviour.
Reactivity Examples
Reactivity towards dogs/humans.
Aggression towards dogs.
Resource guarding.
Fearful, phobic, or anxious related social behaviour.
CFBA Member
As I am a Full CFBA Member, behaviour training sessions may well be covered by your insurance policy, please check with them if you wish to make A claim. A vet referral form can be obtained from me on request or downloaded from the CFBA website. However, you do not need to go through your insurance to work with me.
The initial session can be conducted through a home visit or take place at my location if appropriate. This also includes support with follow up training reference notes from the session towards solving or managing your dog’s behaviour.

The Consult (2 -3 hours).

Ongoing behaviour training follow up sessions (1-hour 30 mins duration)

Online Zoom behaviour consults (40m duration).
Requires video footage of problem behaviour pre consult. Including a follow up summary report.

*Terms & Conditions: Option 2 sessions to be taken within 2 months, Option 3 sessions to be taken within 3 months.

About Max Muir
I created Action 4 Dogs with the sole purpose of teaching pet and working dog owners to build confidence and skills in the human-dog relationship and in creating a working partnership with their dog. I offer a wide range of training experiences covering good solid obedience, recall training (my specialty), effective handling skills, enrichment activities, and an approach to improving problematic behaviour in training as well as more serious behaviour issues. Training levels cater for beginner and novice dog owners to more experienced handling and training.
Max is well known as a people coach. He works with you to understand your thoughts and feelings by identifying your strengths and weaknesses, building your self-confidence by uncovering your potential, and through his training process developing your skillset.
