A Presentation with Max in Dingwall

Description

  1. Have you socialised your dog, done everything by the book, only to find out that it’s gone horribly wrong for you?
  2. Has your dog become de-socialised?
  3. If so what can we do about it?

In this brand new presentation Max will explore and discuss with you the real meaning behind socialisation and delve into what actually makes a social dog, or an anti-social dog. We will also look at the emotional aspect of socialisation in character and personality types in dogs and how their experiences contribute to how they view and perceive the social world. The talk will also look at the dog to dog world as well as dog to human interactions. We will ask questions such as:

  • Are foreign rescue dogs more difficult to socialise than local "domestic dogs"?
  • Are some breeds more difficult than others?
  • What is more important than socialisation?
  • What is appropriate in the name of socialisation?
  • Are some dogs simply unsocial by nature?
  • The session will also include an audience discussion and much more…
