Hunters, scallywags and absconders!

The ultimate challenge of training your dogs recall and everything you need to know!

‘There’s a world of difference between a dog that is off the leash and a dog that is trained to be off the leash.’

About this Event

Come join us for an informative evening with Max Muir from Action 4 Dogs for an insight to dog “recall”

The talk will cover lots of topics to help put you on the right track such as:

  • Assessment of your dogs current level of recall
  • Learning communication, hand signals
  • Teach your dog to focus on you
  • Troubleshooting- what are the next steps and much more information to get the best recall your dog can have.

It is the most important and vital exercise and means of communication you will ever teach your dog. Recalls should never be taken for granted.

They need to be trained, are for the most part in the early years a work in progress, and equal commitment ensures that they are maintained throughout your dog’s developing years.

A dog with a recall is a blessing and a joy to own, a dog without a recall can make walking your dog a nightmare.
