OUTDOOR TRAINING Borthwick Scout Campsite - Outdoor Training Courses Wednesday evenings 19:00 -20:30 Come along and improve your handling skills and training techniques in a controlled outdoor environment. Ideal for those of you who are just starting out with basic training and want to socialise your dogs better, or for those who want to improve further on their training skills by proofing them in a natural rural setting. The training exercises will focus on leash work, recall, retrieve, general obedience, focus & communication. These sessions are also ideal for dogs that may be stressed or anxious and not suited to a classroom environment. Sessions must be pre-booked in advance. It is regrettable that dogs with serious aggression issues will not be suitable for these sessions but if this is the case then it may be possible to help you on a 1-2-1 basis. Outdoor training sessions are ideally suited to those who have either completed the training school or have booked a 1-2-1 session covering the basics of communication and lead work. Each session costs £6.50. Please come prepared with suitable clothing for the outdoors. Dogs should be kept on lead at all times. Borthwick Scout Camp is located behind Borthwick Castle, off the A7 at North Middleton
